I had a great experience with Zazzle. Yes the items are expensive, but they are nice and they do an awesome job with the customization. BUT first and foremost I am very happy with their customer service. I ordered a custom pillow for my girlfriend for Christmas who ended up not liking it. In one quick phone call the Zazzle representative offered me a full refund or store credit, no questions asked after I explained why I wanted to return it.
