I purchased the 1" and 2" thick sound absorbers in a variety of sizes (mainly the 2'x4'). I treated two rooms and the results were outstanding in both. I have tried other products (Sonex, Bubos,etc.) and the Acoustimac absorbers work much better. The resultant sound quality improvement is greater than any electronic equipment change and can only be bettered by a major loudspeaker upgrade. It did take hours of trial and error placement, but for an investment of about $800 a room, the improvement in a high fidelity audio system is impressive.
