I can't even begin to put into words my experience with APL and mother ayahuasca. The team at APL are amazing. Boris and Sasha have thought of everything possible to assist your journey into the realm of plant medicine. They hold such a open, loving, safe space for you to work through whatever reasons have drawn you to work with the great mother that is mama aya. You are in completely safe hands here. Boris and Sasha have created something so magical and so needed in the West for all those who can't get to the amazon for whatever reason. There needs to be more centres like this in Europe and beyond, but ones like APL, that value the traditions and sacredness of working with this powerful plant. The shaman Alberto was amazing, he held everyone with so much love and attention, he was always available to talk to, and he speaks English which in itself is a blessing to those who don't speak Spanish. His icaros were strong and beautiful and he selflessly shared them with us, so now we are all listening to them post-retreat to keep the connection to mother aya. Shout out to Amanda, Krstalyn and Ubi who were working with the core team and who provided such a loving space for us all during integration, one on one chats, yoga, breathwork, singing circles, workshops and sound healing. Just so much love here. And to all the kitchen and cleaning staff too. The food was absolutely sublime. And finally, to my fellow retreatants, I love you all so very much. We are family for life.
