“I was so nervous booking and then attending the trip. Boris was so patient and kind through the process and I couldn’t thank him enough as the experience was one of the best of my life. I was worried about my personality changing for my wife and daughter. I would say it did but only in positive ways and that’s what I saw in the other 12 participants that week, some truly life enhancing alterations. Thanks also to Katie and Lynn, the coolest pipe smoking western therapists and to Pepe and Sasha and Mik. Everyone works in harmony to create the most perfect experience. Dieta in Peru next…maybe!? haha. Thanks everyone”

“I did the 7 day retreat in Andalucia and it was perfect. Very quiet and stunning location next to the sea and amazing healthy food. The experience itself was very well guided and made sure that we all felt save. It started with a pre treatment guide and call, individual and group talks during the retreat and also a comforting after treatment guide and calls. I gained new and great insights which I am implementing now in my daily life. I truly can recommend APL Journey and the whole team, thank you!”

“APL Journeys retreat is one of the most safest and amazing retreats I have ever been. The team is very professional and fully dedicated to helping all the participants on their Healing journey. They have qualified psychologists to help all the participants on their integration inside the retreats and outside it. The set up of the reteeat is very well thought out by the owners including the food and the alternative methods of healing like Sound Bath sessions before each ceremony. I am very grateful to have been part of this and looking forward to the future to be part of other retreats”

“I can not praise my stay with APL enough. The ceremonies are a solemn affair. led by an experienced and skilled Onanya. You have skilled and helpful people who look after you throughout the ceremony. Processing takes place both in groups and one to one by professionals. There are also the surroundings, the soundbath and so much else that is nice. Have used APL twice, and it is out of the question for me to use anyone else. Johan Havstein”

“It was my first time on a APL journey or retreat of this nature. I found the experience transformative and although I did not go into the retreat with any real needs it has enabled me to return to my every day life feeling more fulfilled than ever. The experience has given me a renewed zest for life and I have started some exciting new projects which were directly inspired by the retreat. The experience was professionally operated and the people I met are incredible and I stay in touch with a lot of them to this day. Highly recommended 👌”

“I can only express my most sincere gratitude and respect to APL and their experienced and knowledgeable facilitators. Spending one week in their retreat has changed my whole life and my perspective of my future in profound and positive ways. I was suffering from severe depression and PTSD and I felt completely lost in life. After a week in their care my depression and PTSD are gone, I can feel a profound calm and happiness in my heart and I know in which direction to go in life. They provide not only the real original healing Ayahuasca experience, but they also back it up with deep scientific knowledge and understanding of the process to improve its positive impact in your life. I consider myself very lucky to have fallen in the hands of such loving, welcoming and clever individuals who's main goal is to bring healing and personal growth to you and support the shamans involved in the process and their families. I can only double and triple underline stating that if you believe that Ayahuasca is what you need, then APL is how you need to receive it. Thank you APL team from the bottom of my heart. “I just returned from my Ayahuasca retreat in Spain, and I gained everything I set out for and more. The team is great, and the level of experience they have is evident. Their professionalism blends perfectly with their down-to-earth energy. I felt safe, I felt taken care of, I felt supported, and everything ran smoothly. It was my first Ayahuasca journey, and I can only recommende ALP very highly. The Onanya (shaman) was an absolute legend. It's clear that these guys seek out the best ones. “In November 2024 I went on my second journey with APL and this experience can only be described as a "MIRACLE!" My first Ayahusca journey was in August of 2022. I felt a strong calling to have this experience, and it was incredible. I received a lot of the answers I was seeking and returned home a new person with enlightened insights, and unlocked skills and understanding to better my life. Earlier this year I began to have another strong calling from Ayahusca and I knew I had more to learn, so I jumped in, with a more open heart, mind and trust than my first experience. Largely because everyone associated with APL is extraordinary at their jobs! My first time I was nervous, and a little scared. In the most general sense, I returned to learn more I needed to learn to be the best version of my myself and live in the world from a place of love, genuine love for myself and others. Through Ayahuasca and the help of the amazing shaman and the APL team, I cleared negative trauma that had been haunting me, and negatively impacting my life for 50 years! There are no adequate words to explain the profound healing I experienced. I felt like all parts of myself were miraculously integrated. From there I continued to learn more about the "things" I've been carrying that have stopped me from being the "best version me." It's been a week since my last ceremony and I am still basking in the experience. It changed me in a wonderful, magical, way that healed my heart, soul and mind. While there are always fun moments, this work isn't always fun, but it worth every minute. Everyone's experience is completely different, but If you feel the call, invest in yourself, you're worth it!!! If I feel the the call from AYA again, I will go, and I will go with APL. They are extraordinary, caring, kind, attentive, professional, creative and nurturing, and their facilities are great, so is the food!”

“I was recommended this retreat and the use of Ayahuasca by a friend as I’ve suffered with addictions, depression & eating disorders throughout my life and had childhood trauma which despite having had therapy still were struggles to overcome. I had surrendered to take any steps that could help me. Having joined APL for 1 week I cannot express my gratitude enough for their professionalism & care. My experience from start to finish was fantastic. I felt safe to explore this magical medicine & cannot thank them enough for this wonderful experience. I feel truly blessed to have been introduced to Ayahuasca - with its magic healing powers. I have truly had the most incredible experience of my life and with the support & guidance of the APL team & Maestro Sani have been given a new life! An outcome of emotional freedom. From the organization of the travel, the accommodations, clean communication, IMMENSE EDUCATION and knowledge that I got every single day from attendees and facilitators, I truly can't think of one negative thing. Every question answered and I can't wait to be back. If this work is calling to you, there's no better choice then APL, especially for your first time. “All I can say is wow wow wow! I was very much called to do ayahuasca for a few years now, but was very sceptical as I’ve heard many horror stories while also this medicine is meant to be extremely intense. I really wanted to find the right place so I would feel my absolute best, safest and comfort. I cannot express APL enough to do this medicine. Boris & Sasha make it as comforting as possible and you can tell they have an extreme amount of knowledge and care for the people that come through their centres. Before you book you will need to be signed off for a health and fit check form. Which shows they really care about the people. The retreat itself is life changing, I can’t thank you all enough. I also want to give the facilitators & therapists a special thank you. Especially Frida & Daniel, they work so well together like yin & yang and I have never felt so heard and loved before by people. The shaman they had over was so powerful in his healing work. He was able to manipulate all the negative energy out of our bodies If you are looking to have a new aspect on your life and want a change in a safe and comforting environment this is the place for you. From the bottom of my heart thank you so so much. Feedback: - I would love if there was access to a washing machine to wash clothes / towels - I think an option to stay one more extra night in the beautiful retreat centre would have been ideal as it’s hard to come down after a ceremony from the night before.”
