“In November 2024 I went on my second journey with APL and this experience can only be described as a "MIRACLE!" My first Ayahusca journey was in August of 2022. I felt a strong calling to have this experience, and it was incredible. I received a lot of the answers I was seeking and returned home a new person with enlightened insights, and unlocked skills and understanding to better my life. Earlier this year I began to have another strong calling from Ayahusca and I knew I had more to learn, so I jumped in, with a more open heart, mind and trust than my first experience. Largely because everyone associated with APL is extraordinary at their jobs! My first time I was nervous, and a little scared. In the most general sense, I returned to learn more I needed to learn to be the best version of my myself and live in the world from a place of love, genuine love for myself and others. Through Ayahuasca and the help of the amazing shaman and the APL team, I cleared negative trauma that had been haunting me, and negatively impacting my life for 50 years! There are no adequate words to explain the profound healing I experienced. I felt like all parts of myself were miraculously integrated. From there I continued to learn more about the "things" I've been carrying that have stopped me from being the "best version me." It's been a week since my last ceremony and I am still basking in the experience. It changed me in a wonderful, magical, way that healed my heart, soul and mind. While there are always fun moments, this work isn't always fun, but it worth every minute. Everyone's experience is completely different, but If you feel the call, invest in yourself, you're worth it!!! If I feel the the call from AYA again, I will go, and I will go with APL. They are extraordinary, caring, kind, attentive, professional, creative and nurturing, and their facilities are great, so is the food!”

“I was recommended this retreat and the use of Ayahuasca by a friend as I’ve suffered with addictions, depression & eating disorders throughout my life and had childhood trauma which despite having had therapy still were struggles to overcome. I had surrendered to take any steps that could help me. Having joined APL for 1 week I cannot express my gratitude enough for their professionalism & care. My experience from start to finish was fantastic. I felt safe to explore this magical medicine & cannot thank them enough for this wonderful experience. I feel truly blessed to have been introduced to Ayahuasca - with its magic healing powers. I have truly had the most incredible experience of my life and with the support & guidance of the APL team & Maestro Sani have been given a new life! An outcome of emotional freedom. This is by far the best thing I have ever done- and words cannot describe how life changing this opportunity has been! To anyone considering taking this leap of faith I would not hesitate to say ‘just do it!’ & do it with APL”

“What a life-changing experience! I can't recommend APL Journeys enough. Second APL retreat for me- I decided to return here and continue the work I'd started a few years ago. The utterly challenging journey (the hardest night of my life for sure) was worth it. You guys work so hard to support us and you provided such a safe and comfortable space for me to do the work and feel ok with being so vulnerable. I have a fresh feeling of ease and gratitude, and I'm looking forward to integrating this into my life now. “I wanted to start this review by thanking the APL team for making me feel so safe for traveling from the states on my own but I want to thank them for making me feel so safe for traveling within myself, to places unknown. From the organization of the travel, the accommodations, clean communication, IMMENSE EDUCATION and knowledge that I got every single day from attendees and facilitators, I truly can't think of one negative thing. Every question answered and I can't wait to be back. If this work is calling to you, there's no better choice then APL, especially for your first time. My mind, body snd spirit was prepared in every way and the kindness and support was overwhelming. I look forward to returning.”

“All I can say is wow wow wow! I was very much called to do ayahuasca for a few years now, but was very sceptical as I’ve heard many horror stories while also this medicine is meant to be extremely intense. I really wanted to find the right place so I would feel my absolute best, safest and comfort. I cannot express APL enough to do this medicine. Boris & Sasha make it as comforting as possible and you can tell they have an extreme amount of knowledge and care for the people that come through their centres. Before you book you will need to be signed off for a health and fit check form. Which shows they really care about the people. The retreat itself is life changing, I can’t thank you all enough. I also want to give the facilitators & therapists a special thank you. Especially Frida & Daniel, they work so well together like yin & yang and I have never felt so heard and loved before by people. The shaman they had over was so powerful in his healing work. He was able to manipulate all the negative energy out of our bodies If you are looking to have a new aspect on your life and want a change in a safe and comforting environment this is the place for you. From the bottom of my heart thank you so so much. Feedback: - I would love if there was access to a washing machine to wash clothes / towels - I think an option to stay one more extra night in the beautiful retreat centre would have been ideal as it’s hard to come down after a ceremony from the night before.”

“For my first ayahuasca retreat, I was looking for an authentic experience that would support personal healing and spiritual growth, all within a safe container. It was important to me that the engagement felt respectful of the traditional roots of shamanic practice, as well as the communities who are generously sharing their knowledge and expertise. APL truly went beyond every expectation throughout the process. They shared amble preparation guidance so I felt confident heading to the center. The retreat itself was beautifully held -- with APL attending to all the details in order to create connection, safety and gently guide us into an impactful experience. And through to the integration phase, APL has been present, attentive and thoughtful. Most of all, every member of the team is experienced and professional in their role, and brings a high degree of integrity and intentionality to every aspect of the retreat experience. And the structure of the retreat itself perfectly balances traditional practice with considerations for safety and comfort. For me it was truly transformational - and I feel extremely grateful to APL and my fellow retreaters for the co-created experience.”

“I want to say the biggest heartfelt thanks to the APL team for their incredible amount of love and care they have provided to myself and the group throughout the retreat. I am grateful that my healing journey started in such a safe sacred place with the team. Shaman Noe Lopez was so kind and attentive to us. His icaros touched my soul, making me feel safe to be present with my pain, to acknowledge the pain and to learn to let go, healing me from within. It is my second time with the APL team and I kept learning new things in my inner journey. It is sacred and holy. It was transformational for me. I have a lot to reflect upon and process. The food has been one of my highlights. I love how healthy and delicious the food and snacks are. It shows the amount of love and care given my the chef and the team. Little details made such a big difference. It is an inspiration for my own health journey outside the retreat. Boris has been extremely informative in providing us with many informative useful materials, guides, understandings to prepare ourselves physically and mentally for the ceremonies. Krystalyn and Aimee have been absolute angels in helping us navigate and process difficult confusing emotions. They made us feel their presence and care. Ubi, Jose and Sasha have been attentive, considerate, stable and present, holding a safe space for us to process. Mick has been a fantastic guitarist, translator, interpreter to help us connect with the shaman, breaking down language barrier. This is now a beautiful part of my self reflection, healing, evolving, exploring, awareness and growing. I feel super super lucky to be under the care of APL team, evolving even during one of my most vulnerable states. Thank you arigatou gracias”

“This was by far, the most beautiful and profound week I have ever experienced and I wouldn’t recommend any other retreat. Everything was properly thought of in detail: the location, staff, activities, curandero, facilities, etc. Never have I met such incredible and pure souls who run this business with the true and sincere intentions to help others. The other participants were also incredible human beings who showed so much love and support with one another which is a rarity in my life. I’m already looking forward to the next retreat with APL Journeys. Thank you APL team for everything you do.”

“Where to begin? This was a five star experience from beginning to end. Pre-retreat - great communication from the team, very patient with all my diet questions and lots of information and resources to address concerns or queries. I also appreciated the thorough wellbeing check and the Zoom meet where we got to connect with the whole group ahead of time. At the retreat, there was great attention to detail, the location was fantastic, really peaceful and the ceremony space was ideal. As for the ceremonies themselves, I have never been on an Aya retreat so can't compare but I felt well taken care of and supported. Our shaman, Maestro Noe, held the space so expertly and compassionately. The facilitator team were always on hand and the integration circle the following day helped to ground and guide our experience. In addition, the extras were great - horse riding, massage, sound bath. All these touches made the week a rejuvinating and powerful experience. The team were amazing and clearly take being stewards of the teacher plant very seriously but do so with grace and humour. There aren't many organisations that are truly 5 star, but APL really are. Even with the few minor things that didnt go to plan, they did all they could to rectify wherever possible. I can't imagine a better organisation to enbark on an Ayahuasca journey with.”

Everything exceeded my expectations, starting with the amazing retreat location and yummy food! I swear, some magic is going on there...
