My order arrived very well packaged and promptly. However, I rang you yesterday at 9.35 to complain that the end of the metal brackets were bright silver where they have been ground and chamfered. I was told (pleasantly) I would have to degrease them and paint them black if they were to fit in with the new woodburner I am having fitted. Now ordered spray paint from Amazon at £9.80 plus I have all the additional work Not happy. - hence the POOR grading. All your literature gives the impression of complete black metalwork. I was contemplating purchasing hairpin tables to complete my new look - will I need to respray them also. ??? In the interests of objectivity I must say that the wood is excellent.
