I use no other bird foods than Brinvale because the birds in my garden all enjoy the food. I particularly use the Niger seed s and sunflower hearts and have for years enjoyed regular daily feedings from Goldfinches.
Last year a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker visited over several days and was at the Sunflower 🌻 hearts, spending 15 minutes on each feed.
I've used lots of other bird feeds in the past but non compare anywhere near with Brinvale and the only waste is any that us spilled.
