They have sent a threatening telephone call about an account for a house we used to own but sold over two years ago. We did have an account with them but it was closed when we sold it and they acknowledged that at the time with a letter. Now over a period of a couple of weeks we have had several conversations always with different people but could not seem to get anywhere. They said we had to prove we did not own it anymore but could not tell us which document they needed. How do you prove that you do not own a house? We have now sent a written complaint in. There systems seem useless. How can they suddenly open a new account in our name for a property we no longer own. Steer clear of them.
