We wanted to purchase the whitened reclaimed beam. It arrived looking completely unwhitened and I asked for a replacement. I was told work would begin immediately on the Monday and that the first beam would be collected on the Tuesday. It was indeed collected, but I had asked if the work could be expedited as my builders were only here for a week. The replacement beam arrived during the following week - so my builders have gone and I need to rebook them - and the new beam was simply the first one with a minimum of work and redispatched. So no new beam had been started, and you assumed we wouldn't notice. The whitening is so minimal it's almost invisible. It looks to me like a natural beam and nothing like the finish you advertise on your site. We decided to return the product. In desperation, you offered us 20% discount and a whitening kit - so we could do the work ourselves!!! Very unimpressed, and still awaiting confirmation that you have refunded the money.
