I have been looking for a dutch oven/casserole with a lid for a long time. I wanted a versatile pot that would be able to used both on the gas hob and in the oven, and also to be used for a wide variety of different types of cooking, including making bread.
The C1 casserole fits that bill exactly. It is a lovely pan to look at, and is fabulous to use.
The ordering process from Crane was simple and easy, and the pan was delivered really quickly. My only problem is which one to order next!
