I was delighted to find Day Owl when looking for a smaller, structured backpack that I could use on a regular basis either for work or for casual outings with kids. Day Owl's commitment to reducing waste really impressed me: not only do they use materials that incorporated recycled plastic bottles, but they also sell their "seconds" at a reduced price and refurbish and resell preowned bags. I love the look and function of the backpack, and was able to get a good idea of what it would be like from the website.
