UPDATE: NEVER WORK WITH DCLAW. Lied to our buyers and vendors about being ready so people requested funds and this will now collapse our chain. Lied to us about this, hid communciations from us and have still not had the guts to call us direfctly and tell us this, hiding behind our estate agent. IUf your case is with Howrd or Liam, drop DCLaw now and go else were. Awful experience. Incredibly slow and inefficient. We sold our flat in September and they did not contact our building management checks that would take a long time untill April. This was while we where being told we would move before the stamp duty deadline in March. We went through an identical chain when buying during covid with solicitors that cost lots less and they got the job done months faster. Our case mangers are never available so you are constantly phoning and speaking to people that know nothing about your case. Work is only ever done when you are on the phone. They will not do anything proactive or efficient, any excuse to leave your case alone they will take it. A truly awful company. They used our building management as an excuse so when I requested a break down of all the steps taken by our building management the truth came out. They would do nothing with information given, they would not communicate with them and they misrepresented who was causing hold ups (it was them). We are supposed to be finished with the sale soon, but I know that won't happen and I will have to pay them even more money for expired searches because dclaw wants to ring you for every penny. I look forward to the days this company is a distant memory. The positive review name the same names again and again. This is for a reason. I have never interacted with thouse members of staff so I say avoid this company because that good experience is luck of the draw.
