The playhouse is a fantastic addition to our home, providing hours of entertainment for my 4-year-old and 1-year-old children. It is well-constructed and straightforward to assemble, taking us about two days to complete. Given that we have a smaller garden, this playhouse is a great choice as my 4-year-old loves the ladder leading to the upper level. I also appreciate the design feature that prevents the upper window from opening for added safety. There are a couple of minor concerns, however. The wood is treated with an orange stain that has transferred onto my children’s shoes/clothing. While this was not an issue for my 4-year-old, who wore old trainers, my 1-year-old’s first shoes are now stained orange. Additionally, the door hinge is not very robust and tends to shift out of place with enthusiastic use by my 4-year-old . I anticipate that the door catch will need replacing in the near future due to door regularly shifting out of place. Despite these minor issues, the playhouse is a great purchase, and I would definitely recommend it!
