“Absolutely atrocious service, steer well clear. Ordered a shed on 13th May, to be supplied and fitted on Monday 27th July. They phoned at 3:34pm on the Friday [24th July, after I'd taken down and tipped the old shed that it was replacing, and told me they couldn't supply the shed for Monday, and had no idea when it would be delivered and erected. Subsequently, I cancelled the order and asked for a full refund [£1042.99p]. As the refund hadn't arrived 8 days later, I contacted them to ask why and discovered they'd gone into administration. Whether I'll get my money back I don't know but these people should never be allowed to open a business again.”

“I was promised an update on delivery this week after a wait of a few months for my expensive greenhouse which I have paid for. No news and no update from Elbec, when I call each day to ask I'm told there is no update from the manufacturer. At the moment I'm not impressed.”

“Where to start, it arrived as planned and I thought in good condition
I have tried to assemble the shed and found multiple items that are bent and unusable including trim and roof bearer's, the tongue and groove has many gaps and missing pieces, one apex was so bad, I shingled it over, I have only fitted one door so far as you can see in the photo it's warped,the felt is about as thin as the company could supply and still call it felt, they have replaced a couple of pieces but I was told the gaps are due to the hot weather and will close up when it gets damp. I attach the photos for you to see”

“Positives: Good price, very quick delivery and looks good. Generally pleased with it.
Negatives: There doesn’t seem to be much quality control checking going on. We’ve ended up with 2 panels where you can see daylight through the weather boards! Not sure it’ll be very watertight. Doors are a little warped too.”
