“The instructions were easy to follow, but it did take a day for 3 of us to build it. It was difficult to get the hinges in correctly so that the door and windows shut correctly and stay shut. The window catches are not very good quality. Having said all of that our granddaughter loves it and it looks very pretty.”

The instructions whils good do not include all the tools required to build the building. It only lists 2 drill sizes when there at at least four required.”

“We bought a hybrid greenhouse and although it took time to put together, it is impressive. Makes a bit of rattly noise if it's windy. When we had a damaged part a new one was sent out instantly. I have had more success germinating seedlings than ever before and I can do a bit of painting in the greenhouse too. Very happy overall.”

“The quality of the summer house is very good, the building instructions could be clearer and cutting a section of the roof leaves the roof a bit weak. I was a pain of glass was missing but a quick phone call sorted it although its not here yet should be tomorrow. Over all very happy with the product.”

“Poor design at upper levels - roof has no overhang at front and back, apex parts do not fit flush with tops of walls so lots of gaps to fill to keep it watertight, door does not fit square at top as the door is not supplied with all four corners being right angled and one long edge is not straight all the way up. The base fitted well though with the walls, no gaps. Flimsy hinges, not long enough, won’t weather well. Roof felt was in roll and squashed flat, so when unrolled it was cracked across every 10-12 centimetres and thus had to be replaced - Elbec acted quickly to contact Shire Buildings in North Cambridgeshire to send another piece of roof felt, which did arrive intact by courier. The shed looks good on the sales photos but is not of the good quality anyone would expect from the price. I was therefore disappointed. It was also disappointing that from reading the sales literature Elbec appeared to make the sheds they sell, but in the case of this tool shed it was not made by them at all. So whilst the marketing information leaves you thinking you are buying a good quality Elbec produced shed, at least in relation to this tool shed, there is a quality control issue and they used an unrelated supplier elsewhere.
After a lot of filling of gaps, changing door hinges and door furniture to weatherproof by buying better quality, and asking for new roof felt, buying new pieces of OSB board for roof and cutting to ensure overhang all round, I now have a shed which is functional and weatherproof and should last quite a few years!”

“Looks good .however having worked in construction for over 40 yrs putting stuff together ain't an issue for me. and I know my way around a mastic gun .but it still leaks like sieve .and the opening light swells every time it rains .so it won't open till the sun's dried it out .no point easing the window as it would pour in .sadly not too impressed really.”
