“Very disappointing. It does not align with the description on the website.
It certainly is not built with thicker than normal timbers. The way the windows are fitted is a joke, they are not anchored at the top or bottom and would blow out in a good wind. When you connect two window panels the windows do not align, in my case there was about 1 inch difference in height.
The shed has only been built for 10 days and already there are gaps showing between the shiplap cladding.
Certainly would not have bought if I'd seen one built in advance.”

“This is a nightmare to put together, the instructions are not clear at all, I’m a graphic designer, I could have written a better manual myself…. Apart from cutting the hands of me(even with gloves) I didn’t realize it doesn’t come with a bottom!!!!”

“Delivery and construction was good but the Look good but is not “ man enough” to reliably carry people particularly if teenagers are running. The wood on the base of the bridge is too thin to trust.
Now it is simply an ornament and I had to find another solution to our bridge issue.”

“Was told that the greenhouse had been delivered and was sent a ‘photo’ of the delivered item at 8pm , so went searching in the dark outside, but the item was not there. Patronising customer service the next day. Delivered two weeks later by lovely driver. Instructions were so small we needed a magnifying glass , no labelling, no separate bags for different sized screws, flimsy hinges. Wood was average quality but a lot was staple gunned rather than properly put together. We needed to undo screws in an upright in order to make door fit, also had to plane another door for same reason. Gave up on having any opening roof windows as it was too difficult to work with bad quality hinges and didn’t have as many opening doors on sides for same reason. Very pleased with it now; it looks good, especially as we didn’t use poor quality and not very nice looking handles for doors. Would have been really disappointed if we had paid full advertised price; as it was the hassle was not really worth the money we paid. Not dead impressed by this company and certainly wouldn’t use them again.”

“The 6x4 Palram Canopia Hybrid Greenhouse. We would return it if we had not part built it. The frame is sturdy but the polycarbonate panels are very flimsy. 3 days trying to build it. The nuts and screw spin around when trying to tighten them as they are in awkward places.
We don't think it's worth the price that we paid.”

“Poor design- no roof overhang to prevent water cascading down walls. Numerous cracks and holes in walls not compatible with such a supposedly high quality product.”

“My son and I have managed to construct the double log store. However, we experienced some problems with the assembly which I think you need to be aware of....
Firstly, the three floor/shelf fascia panels were 20mm too long, so I had to saw them to fit. They were 900mm instead of the specified 880mm. There was an extra 810mm long shelf support, although that wasn't a problem.
The main problem was that the roof panels didn't fit across the two rear side upright posts without leaving an 8mm gap between the panels. All three uprights and the two back panels were screwed tightly together, so either one or both of the back panels were too wide, or probably it's more likely that the roof panel support frame(s) were not far enough apart to fit properly over the posts, leaving the 8mm gap. I managed to solve this problem by chiselling an 8mm notch out of the rear corner of one of the roof frames.
These faults might be a one off and I was just unlucky? However, some people might not have the tools or the know how to solve the problems, so you would end up having to deal with the cost and hassle of the returns. I think it would be worth checking some of your other packs to make sure that they are accurate. And perhaps you should claim some compensation from Rowlinson for supplying the faulty pack.”

“Having purchased this shed i was looking forward to assembling it.
Imagine my dismay when i began assembling it the floor was made of very thin osb board and when i stood on it it began to buckle as there were no supporting woodwork underneath,
I have had to purchase addition wood to strengthen the flooring so it is capable of supporting anything in the shed.And now i feel i will need to do the same to the roof as it is made out of the same thin diameter osb and if i need to climb on the roof to put the felt on for example it almost certainly couldnt hold up.I must also mention the struts already attached to the floor are very poor quality as some have gouges out of them and almost certainly hasn't been through any q.c..
Iam not going to go through the process of taking pictures and having a to and fro with you before you come to a decision about it.I will just make sure that not only i but anyone else i know avoid you goods.
For the money i have paid i am extremely unhappybut i guess you live and learn.”

“I purchased a potting shed in June 25. Delivered with minor faults- nails protruding, window closers not fitted correctly etc (I am in the joinery trade so was able to rectify myself)
I added preservative to protect the timbers before assembly and again straight after.
However the door appeared to be warped, but because I had already treated the timbers, Elbec or Shire were not interested, yet they were also saying that if you DID NOT treat it then you HAD NO GUARANTEE. It seems to me that you can't win, that either way you HAVE NO GUARANTEE.
Over the next few weeks they had me jumping through hoops, sending photo's and emails, all for nothing, they had no intention of sorting out the door, they told me that this was normal as all doors warp (All doors DO NOT warp and being brand new should not) This should have been sorted.

As timber is a natural material, it is susceptible to movement, such as warping, if it is not treated and maintained with a suitable timber treatment. We understand you applied a garden shade product; however, this is not a preservative treatment. Garden shades are decorative coatings that require a primer before use to provide protection, and without this, the timber remains vulnerable to the weather. This is likely to have contributed to the issue you have experienced with the door.
To assist, we offered to provide additional parts to help the door retain its shape and improve its function. We are sorry that this has not met your expectations, and we appreciate that this has caused frustration.
