“Prior to delivery good notification. Very poor receipt of the Arbour as it was taken from the van in bits and pieces and placed on the drive. No inventory list to check all parts were present and as such a small piece of the wood was missing and my joiner who erected the Arbour had to craft a small piece to fit. It would have helped if they came in bundles of like parts taped together but as the customer you are expected to check . As it was in bits and no inventory check list apart from assemble instructions it made things difficult.”

“Terrible. We now know why it’s that price. Loads of bits did not fit the instructions are shocking I have taken numerous photo s of defects lucky for us hubby is very good at building things the window frame inserts every single one had to be filed down to fit this was a very long process as there are 2 side windows with individual panes and the door”

“Ordered a green house which arrived with damaged parts sent an email with a pic of at least one part damaged and didn't get a response but then a while later received a replacement for that one piece there were many pieces bent and overal the quality was poor made do with what i had but wasn’t overly happy, will buy from here again!”

“When taken out of the pack to put together, some of the lats on each of the 6 units had to be refitted. The timber is very thin and some was cracked. Wish I’d have just made my own as have had to rebuild 30% of each on average whilst putting together. The screws are just cheap & nasty. The timber with the 45 degree cuts for the top pieces didn’t fit together properly and left rather large gaps, more so than I was expecting. All in all, I wouldn’t be buying these again
The service from elbec was spot on and I couldn’t fault it if I tried.”

“Not great, sadly. Summerhouse (shire lena 16x8) arrived on time, and delivery guy was really lovely and extra helpful. Summerhouse missing a load of parts, over a week later and no sign of replacements (not great as it's raining and water is coming in). Floor and roof didn't fit together well at all requiring a LOT of extra work from our builder. Floor still has gaps. Doors don't join properly so we're having to get that fixed as the wind blows it open.
Such a shame, explained issues in an email and phonecall. No solution offered or any compensation for the wait/missing parts/water coming in. Wouldn't use again.”

“When I placed an order for the log cabin, and chose the delivery date, the next day they told me it was a computer error and I had to wait another two weeks for it to be delivered which was fine when they finally delivered the log cabin they forgot to send the doors and on top of that I had a wait another week for the plastic windows and when they finally sent the windows, I was one window short so I had to wait another 2 to 3 days for them to be delivered!”

“I placed the order at the start of April and it has not arrived mid May. It seems that the use of multiple ‘middle men’ for delivery and dispatch means the delivery date keeps keeping pushed back further and further which has been very frustrating. When I have contacted elbec, the reply was very defensive and I still don’t know when my greenhouse will arrive 6 weeks after ordering.”

“Purchasing was relatively straightforward but delivery of the greenhouse was late which was frustrating as delivery date was before bank holiday weekend with the aim to build it over the long weekend. “Pleased with the arch. However, the posts are an unusual size and it’s not been possible to find the correct sized post stakes which has proved to be incredibly frustrating. Customer services were not helpful and we have ended up making do with a sub optimal solution.”
