My optometrist suggested that Heat would help my dry eyes. Not wanting me to spend extra money, she suggested a microwaved potato in a clean hot wash cloth. But she added that masks were available for this purpose if I wanted to spend the money. Previously I had noted how soothing a hot washcloth was on my eyes. I decided a mask was preferable to a potato. I love this eye mask. It feels soothing. It is easy to heat in the microwave and the belcro fastening is good
