The bed arrived packed very well. Minimal instructions, all parts were included. We found it to be moderate to put it together. Bed is sturdy. Worth it to get the pads on the posts to protect the floor. I wish I could have gotten samples of the wood with the stain. The color wasn't quite what I expected but it's fine. It was handy to get the floating shelf as you now have a small piece you can match other things with. Over all it is a good quality bed.
