The trainers look great and are lightweight and well made. However the heel is quite high and thick so rubs on the Achilles. This might get better with more wear but they gave me blisters. Review update - after 1 month of wearing these trainers, I am sadly having to admit that I am very disappointed in them. I cannot wear them without socks as they rub and keep giving me blisters. Also, the merino wool makes them quite thick so they are already showing wear and tear at the top inner rim due to catching on each other as I walk. All in all, I am very disappointed as I really wanted to wear them without socks all summer but I have reverted back to my old walking trainers now for comfort. :-(
