I have been wearing Giesswein Veitsch slippers for several years and have found the that the quality is not there anymore. The first Giesswein Veitsch had cork insoles which are much more supportive than the wool lined ones that come with the slippers now. I was able to purchase Giesswein suede lined cork insoles from Wool is Cool store in the US. This store seems to now be associated with another which no longer carries those insoles. The suede lined cork insoles were acceptable but still are not as supportive as the original all cork ones. I will need to look for a different brand of slippers in the future since Giesswein is no longer supplies the support my arthritic feet need.
