I've worn Allbirds for a couple years now, and wanted to compare the two. The Giesswein runs just a touch larger than Allbirds, which I like since both brands only come in full sizes and I wear a US 8.5 -- the GW 8 works fine for me. My only issue is that, when worn without socks, the GW is a very slippery wool interior, so my foot slides around just a bit, leading to blisters. With socks, the fit is perfect and very comfortable, but overall, I prefer the Allbirds fit.
