I recently bought a pair of Giesswein slippers because my feet and ankles were suffering from slippers that give poor support. When I first received them I found that the insoles were quite uncomfortable under my instep and didn't think I would be able to get on with them at all. I removed the insole and put in some soft ones and now they are fine, warm comfortable and supportive.
