I like slippers, they are comfy and easy to wear. That being said, i bought them in size 42 because that's what I use in all my footwear, but they are simply too small. No matter how well I fit my foot inside the slippers, within two steps I'm already stepping on the lip or notch onn the back. I'd recommend buying one size larger.
