The material is very soft, but quite thin for a sweater....its more like a thick soft knit shirt to wear over a T shirt. The sizing is quite tight; my partner usually wears large, but he should have had extra large in this sweater. As it was a gift, and unsure of the delivery timing, I ordered it early, then had to wait a couple of weeks to give it to him for his anniversary date, so I ran out of time to return it and reorder (they only allow 14 days), and unfortunately Gobi do not exchange. You have to return within 14 days and place an entirely new order.
