I grew up in Caernarfon, overlooking the Menai Straits, so a big supporter of Halen Môn. I always struggled to find meaningful food gifts for our Italian friends - coals to Newcastle and all that. No longer! They are hooked on this great salt and the gin. I once ate at a top restaurant on Lake Garda and found Halen Môn on the table. I asked the chef why he chose this salt over all the others.
