This cold call, an arrogant man, persuaded my mother (who has dementia) to purchase a policy to insure an electric cooker for £258.00.
My mother does not even own an electric cooker!!!!.
I spoke with Homeshield today and they refused to refund the money until they have spoken to Mum again. Mum was extremely upset & in tears so I wasn't going to allow this.
I contacted Nat West who will reclaim Mum's money. Absolute fraud and heartless scam.
