As a Sheetmetal Worker for 50 years,I can say this loft hatch is very well made and the sizes were spot on, only 2 slight problems the door drops at the front , but the instructions says it could take up to 6 months to bed in , the other is a slight distortion of frame, even with the screws backed off , the item was delivered quicker than they said it would be , and was wrapped and packed really well .Much prefer a metal type to a plastic one which in time could fatigue and snap .
