The order was taken easily enough, and quickly dispatched. But the goods just aren't fit for purpose. We'd bought a single covered escutcheon with the view to buy a load more if we liked it. But it was useless. The cover just won't move. It's far to stiff. If I use all my might, I can just about shift it slightly to the side, but it's a very difficult operation, and nowhere near the smooth, one-handed operation it should be. It's a shame, because the escutcheon looked great... just didn't work! *****EDIT***** Since posting the review, MoreHandles have been back in touch and sent out a replacement escutcheon, so for their great customer services I'm giving an extra star, bringing them up to Average. But unfortunately although the replacement escutcheon is less stiff, it still doesn't swing freely, making it difficult to get the key into the keyhole with one hand. So I won't be going ahead with the purchase of enough for all the doors in our house. *****EDIT AGAIN***** They've got in touch with me again, and this time since I still wasn't happy with the escutcheon, they've refunded my money (inc. postage fees). While it's still a shame that the escutcheons are no good (thus one star lost), I can't really fault their customer service. I'm not sure what more they could have done!
