The handle to our on-suite door needed replacement and I noted that it was made by Carlisle Brass, so I looked up the specification and easily found the correct part. I therefore ordered it. The item was delivered promptly and was exactly as specified. Replacement was simple and we also have the other half of the pair should we need it in the future. The only fly in the ointment was that the shipping company, DPD, imposed a hefty charge for shipping to the "Highlands and Islands". Well, we are not IN the Highlands or Islands, they start some 35 miles away. We are in Moray, so this should not be happening at all. In addition, unfair overcharging is a known issue and is being addressed by the Scottish Government. The "Fair Deliveries" web site - https://fairdeliveries.scot/ - makes it possible to determine whether or not a supplier will make a surcharge for delivering to selected Scottish postcodes so we would suggest that More Handles should use the facility to choose a delivery company that does not impose an unfair surcharge on shipments to certain Scottish locations. You are only just over the Border after all!
