I got scammed by Nite Crawler reservationist. I repeatedly told “Ashton” that I needed wheelchair access. More than once he put me on hold so he could call the property/hotel see if they could accommodate my requests. The hotel claimed my booking didn’t include wheelchair or anything except a king bed
The manager yelled at me & said it was my fault. They said if I took another room the first night, they would move me to wheelchair room the 2nd day. I asked for the new offer in writing. The request infuriated the manager & that’s when she began the demeaning yelling through the lobby office window at me seated in my wheelchair. The first night in the new room I killed a bug climbing up the wall behind the bed & saw 2 of the same kind dead on the floor beside the bed. I made a Do Not Disturb sign for my door which had been removed when I went out the next day. The room is a long way from the hotel entrance & was difficult getting to the front for pickup & when I came back my card key didn’t work which I had personally seen multiple guests ask for help with whenever passing through the Lobby. I called after the cleaning woman kindly opened my door & was told they would bring me a new one 5 hours ago. The email description of my room wasn’t correct in actuality. Including no where to hang my clothes. The person who cleaned my room didn’t clean the bathroom sink & replaced my towels but not my washcloths. I want to report Nite Crawlers & Hometown Inn both to the BBB.
