I made a mistake when applying for car insurance for my wife's car. I forgot to add a no fault claim. When i ran another comparison, then quote was almost identical.
I contacted onecall on the same day, and was told it would be £80 to amend the policy.
I asked to cancel under the cooling off period as the policy hadn't even started yet and they charged me £50. Most other companies don't charge at all for cancellation during the cooling off period. Some charge £25.
I decided to pay the £50 and chose another company. Never again
