DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
I cannot stress this enough, if I could put a negative score I would. The service I have received from this company is absolutely shocking and disgusting.
I ordered the miami garden lounge set at the end of March on a 5 week pre order, it is now June and I have had no contact from them whatsoever. I've tried calling hundreds of times for an update, no one answers and it goes to a full mailbox. I've sent numerous emails with no response, also sent messages through the website. Facebook and instagram messages all ignored, Twitter link no longer works, probably removed because the bad reviews were trending.
If you call the sales line you can speak to someone who will happily take a new order, however they can't give you an update on an existing order because apparently 'the information is not available on their system'. However if you keep asking and dont take no for an answer funnily enough though they can find your order on the system ...but they can't give you an update, just a delivery estimate, which is of no use because the truth is they don't have a clue. They also seem well versed in what to say, they obviously receive hundreds of these calls each day.
I have spent nearly £1000 on this set for this summer and I have no way of cancelling it. This is a lot of money to me and I've saved for a long time, after a lot of consideration I decided to buy from @outandout as they looked reputable, now I dont think I will be able to get a refund through them, let alone buy anything else in time for this summer. I'm going to have to go through the credit card company to make a claim, god knows what I would have done if I'd paid on debit card or via PayPal.
I have read similar reviews against posts on facebook and Instagram, it appears there is one lady called Ellie who is the customer care manager, but who she is managing I dont know, as she seems to be the only person anyone has ever spoken to! I was given the courrier contact details (CR Transport) by the sales lady, and on a whim I called it and asked to speak to Ellie, to my suprise I was told she was there but 'on her mobile' so couldnt speak to me, this makes me think there is no customer services department but more of a go between for out and out and CR transport. This company is definitely not as legitimate as the website suggests. It appears that all of the furniture is imported so the lead times are rediculous. Thinking back I should have known something was not right when I received an email at the time of purchasing which came from 'April Winter'!
I've read previous reviews which are good, well please ignore these. I think when everything is running smoothly people have had a good experience, however any delays or problems and this company can't cope. I've been patient and understanding of the current circumstances but after 2 months and when I was unable to actually speak to anyone regarding my order I started to panic that the company had gone bust, I'd been fleeced, they weren't real etc everything runs through your mind when you've spent that kind of money.... then I started getting adverts pop up on my phone, the company are still trying to sell items that they can't deliver! It's a joke.
I never normally write reviews, but I felt compelled to as I am so upset and disappointed, I decided to take the time to warn others. If you don't believe me check out the comments on social media, hundreds of people are in the same boat. Some people have been waiting 2+ months and then found out their order has been cancelled with no explanation. I genuinly don't know how this company is able to operate in this way. I will be reporting them to trading standards and the relevant obusudman in due course.
Im beyond disappointed and angry, please do your research on this company before considering buying anything.
