I was disappointed that I was the one making all the phone calls to Pets in Peace, rather than the other way around. I did receive a phone call to confirm that my cat had been sent to them, and then received an email and had to complete a form, which I did. But I was not appraised of how things were progressing or when her ashes would be sent to us. It took me to call them to find out what was happening. In the end I called them and asked if I could go the office where her ashes were and arranged to pick then up on the Saturday. Luckily I checked, again me ringing them, to be told the office I was going to was not open on Saturday. I eventually received her ashes 10 days after her passing. Did not expect to have to wait that long. We have said goodbye to other pets of ours in the past and the turnaround time was a lot quicker.
