Pinwheel is a great option for a first phone. Some of the limitations were a bit frustrating but now they've added the google play store and I'm able to give my child much more independence while still having the safety of knowing exactly what is being used on the phone. Whenever I have trouble with something, customer service has a live chat option that is stupendous! The representatives are very patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. I haven't had a problem yet that wasn't able to be fixed. I will definitely be getting another Pinwheel phone for my younger child when they reach an appropriate age.
