Arranged a web call about possible ADHD. The Doctor was late for the appointment, only by 6 minutes which isn't a lot but I was particularly anxious about the meeting which made it feel a lot longer and I would expect to be notified if someone was going to be late. At the end of the appointment, the Dr said that he thought I had ADHD. He recommended taking medication and pushed it very strongly, to the point that it felt like he wasn't doing it for my best interests. I said that choosing to go onto medication that will alter my mind is not an instant decision I feel I can make but he kept persisting. As a result of the overly pushy attempt to get me to go on to medication, I decided not to do the follow up appointment as I felt uneasy about the intentions. I even contemplated seeing another specialist as I didn't have faith in the diagnosis. After the appointment, it took some time for the written diagnosis and notes to sent over, and had a few minor errors in it about my circumstances.
