When I arrived at the paddock, I didn't really know where to go and when I needed to be where. It was all a bit confusing to me as I didn't have a timetable outlining the sequence of events, and where they would be taking place. Nice introduction/briefeing, also the drive in the van to help familiarize with the track was quite nice. Nice car, well maintained. Also, it was nice to be right at the pitwall and be able to watch the other cars going around. Onboard video was also pretty cool, particularly because of the telemetry data shown in there. A resolution of only 1280x720 is very poor in this day and age though. Also, I was missing engine noise in the video. And I was hoping to be able to push the car a bit more. When someone is willing to pay between 500 and 1000€ for "just" two Laps in a Huracan in Hockenheim, then he probably doesn't want to be to told to drive down the Parabolica at 70% throttle. That's not very satisfying for a car enthusiast. Therefore, I probably won't be coming back. Maybe driving a single seater would be more thrilling. The Arrows A18 Formula 1 car looks tempting, although the cost is significant. And it should be noted that this particular example does not have the Yamaha OX11 engine anymore, but rather a Cosworth AC, which is not a Formula 1 engine and significantly less powerful than the original powertrain. Also, unlike the Yamaha engine, it's a V8 and not a V10. I would have thought that Judd should be still be able to maintian the OX11? But even if not, why not use a Judd GV engine instead? To be fair, the Puresport website does correctly indicate that it's not the original engine (if you look close enough).
