The 17th December was probably a little too close to Christmas to shop for our proper engagement ring but having designed it on-line we had a good idea of what we wanted. An evening appointment with Linn at QD in Hatton Garden who was great and took us through all the options and once the setting was agreed, gave us a great overview of diamonds available and helped us pick the perfect one for our budget. Compared to what we'd seen on the high street there was no contest. To top it off, even though we'd officially missed the Christmas deadline, QD came through and I was able to pick the ring up on the Tuesday in time for a little extra Christmas surprise.
