It was lovely to have a consultant come to my home and help me choose curtains and blinds for our beach house. The curtains are beautifully made and the fabric is fabulous. However, I so wish the consultant had pointed out that the heavy fabric I had chosen and the full blockout lining would mean that the curtains cover a large portion of the windows when pulled back. I've always liked the triple pleats, but they were not a wise choice for the fabric chosen. I forgot to ask for left over material so didn't have anything to make tiebacks, and have had to use hooks that are not ideal. If I had the choice again I'd go for a single inverted pleat, which would have looked lovely, and not had the same bulk issues. It would also have cost a lot less!
