My experience with snaptravel this past Saturday was unbelievably HORRIBLE. I went to Downtown Cleveland for my anniversary. I booked hotel couple days in advance. At 3pm I attempted to check in to Hotel. I was advised by hotel that snaptravel had cancelled my reservation one day prior for some unknown reason. I got on phone with customer service in which I was then referred to "urgent care team". I waited in hotel lobby for over 3 HOURS waiting to be "relocated". Finally after 3 calls by me I was put on "priority". At about 730pm I was contacted by snaptravel urgent team and advised there was nothing they could do for me besides give me a refund. They could not give me a reason behind the mistake that was made regarding my reservation. By the time I was advised there was nothing snaptravel could do every single hotel downtown was booked and I was stranded 3 hours away from home in Michigan. My evening with my wife was ruined and the trip was a disaster because of snaptravel. For my inconvenience they gave me $27 in credit which didn't even cover the cost for parking that I already paid for at the hotel which was a waste of my money. The customer service was unbelievably horrible. I sat in hotel lobby for over 3 HOURS waiting for a resolution. The hotel manager came and talked to us and basically said we had to leave if we didn't hear back from snaptravel soon. It was somewhat embarrassing. The entire trip was a disaster and already ruined. I ended up booking a hotel near the airport and calling it a night. Waste of a trip because of snaptravel. Thanks
