I am not sure how this business gets any positive reviews, my experience is they are a big scam! I came across the site while looking for two hotel rooms in Baltimore Maryland at a specific hotel. I was able to book at an extremely low rate. I researched the site as I had never heard of them and there were good/bad reviews and I decided to take a chance and book. The day before we were to travel I received an email from Dean at Customer Support stating that my reservation would have to be cancelled due to an outbreak of Covid which had closed the entire hotel. Hmm.... I was then offered a refund with a 20% credit for future travel or reservations at another hotel in the area. I looked at the reviews from the offered hotel and they were really terrible! I opted for the refund. Just to double check on things, I called the original hotel and asked if they were open and I was advised they were 100% open, and there was no Covid emergency. That is when I began reaching out to Snap Travel to get my reservation reinstated. After 4 emails over 2 days...no response whatsoever from Snaptravel. The only saving grace was that Snaptravel had mistakenly only cancelled one room. Due to the tenacity and customer service from one of the staff at the hotel, we were able to get our two rooms as planned. To this day, I have not heard from Snaptravel. This was an outright lie from this company. I imagine they had someone else ready to pay a higher rate than what we were paying and tried to cancel us and stick us in a subpar hotel
