I made a hotel booking for a hotel in Paris over a month ago. Called the hotel (Hilton) several times over the past few weeks and they said they don't have my reservation and won't honor it. Spoke with Super travel agents and they tried to get my reservation in Hilton's system but they replied back after a week saying they can't do that. I have to wait 2-3 days before check in!
The booking is non-refundable according to Super Travel.
2-3 days before check in, means the dispute window will be closed with Visa/Master Card. The hotel said this is not a common practice (to send the reservations a few days before check in). I don't want to wait until 2-3 days before check in and get disappointed so I disputed the transaction. Once the dispute started, Super cancelled my booking! Got no refund and no communication from Super. I contacted them and they said they can't access my account while there is a dispute going on. It makes no sense.
