I booked a hotel using SnapTravel in December '19. For reasons I won't mention, the hotel agreed to refund its part of the proceeds. This was in February '20. It's now June and SnapTravel has had my money for four months. Not only that, they continue to impose more requirements for me to get my money---things that I am unable to directly effect. So this company is so incompetent, or their accounting is so shoddy that they can't see the refund from the hotel has been received and identify what it's for? I don't think so. I think they're that corrupt that they are making the requirements for me to receive my money so unattainable that I can't meet them and thusly give up trying. I sent them the receipt from the hotel. It should be easy enough for them to see if the money has been received or not. If they received it, what further proof is needed?
Customer service is terrible. It's nearly impossible to get someone on the phone, and almost just as difficult to actually find the number. If after an extremely long hold, you are "lucky" enough to get someone on the phone, their English is broken, they're dismissive and ignorant when it comes to helping you.
