Car supermarket Birmingham
Bought a car with a warranty and found the seat belt faulty. I’ve been waiting over a year for them to fix it. This could be crucial if God forbid I was in an accident and couldn’t undo the seat belt to escape.
Their after sales is diabolical, they say the part is in only for me to turn up when told and they can’t find it. I go again and they fit the seat belt but not the fixing mechanism (which is the part that’s faulty) they arrange for me to go back and cancel on the day. I am still waiting for a satisfactory outcome. Yet they passed it on the MOT. This could void my insurance should I have an accident and I would be within my rights to sue the company for their part.
Surely you cannot pass a car with a faulty seatbelt in a MOT
