I was scammed by a company I invested in a few weeks ago. Thanks to Spectrum-Crest, I was able to recover my funds. Their exceptional service and expertise were instrumental in resolving the situation.

Whilst I was initially happy with the service I received, things soon began to unravel. Once they have yoir money, and promptly talked you in to the raft of extras, such as warranty, they soon become very difficult to deal with. I bought a BMW 420i and was sold a warranty with their preferred supplier, Auto Protect. I was never given a list of parts covered or the terms, and was promised by the slick salesman that it covers everything, that everyone takes out this policy and I'd have nothing to worry about. How wrong was I to believe him. Main coolant hose blew, which left me stranded. Feat not! I was told, you have Auto Protect.. firstly, most garages know how bad this company is so refuse to do work for them. Once the work was done, I was then informed by them that the hose wasn't covered. Despite it being buried deep in the engine, which required half the engine out to repair! Apparently, this is a serviceable item.. as if I'm going to have the engine out every year during its service.. Car Supermarket then refused to help, despite their service department saying they would personally pay for it. They will lie and tell you anything to get your business, then leave you high and dry. I will pay this invoice, then dedicate my time to ensuring nobody buys from them again.. for the sake of £350, it'll cost them many, many thousands in lost business.

This company is 100% a scam, they took money from myself and many people I know. Be wary that anyone that writes otherwise is likely associated with the company in some way . I am not able to withdraw anything... Now, the site appears to be down completely, thanks to COVSECLTD*COM who helped me recover my losses.

After an extremely disappointing experience with Carsupermarket, I feel compelled to share my story as a caution to potential buyers. My nearly new vehicle has required over six services within the first six months of ownership – a red flag that cannot be ignored. Despite their claims, the tires installed on my Tesla were not up to the required specifications, leading to safety concerns and performance issues. This was no minor oversight but a clear deviation from Tesla’s strict guidelines, which specifically call for Tesla-approved tires that suit the vehicle’s performance needs. Moreover, the vehicle passed an MOT at a Carsupermarket-associated location, which now appears to be highly questionable. The mismatched and non-compliant tires on the vehicle should not have passed the MOT standards, raising doubts about the legitimacy of the inspection process and, worse, the legality of their practices. It’s disheartening to encounter such a lack of transparency and customer service in what should have been a straightforward purchase. The car was sold with assurances of quality and roadworthiness that have not been met. I have pursued the issue with their team but have been met with inadequate responses and a failure to acknowledge the seriousness of the situation. I am left with no choice but to consider legal action to resolve these issues and hold the company accountable. My experience has been one of frustration and concern, and I would urge anyone considering purchasing from Carsupermarket to think twice and proceed with extreme caution.

Car supermarket Birmingham Bought a car with a warranty and found the seat belt faulty. I’ve been waiting over a year for them to fix it. This could be crucial if God forbid I was in an accident and couldn’t undo the seat belt to escape. Their after sales is diabolical, they say the part is in only for me to turn up when told and they can’t find it. I go again and they fit the seat belt but not the fixing mechanism (which is the part that’s faulty) they arrange for me to go back and cancel on the day. I am still waiting for a satisfactory outcome. Yet they passed it on the MOT. This could void my insurance should I have an accident and I would be within my rights to sue the company for their part. Surely you cannot pass a car with a faulty seatbelt in a MOT Date of experience: 10 February 2024

If I could give zero stars, I would. We bought a 2018 Hyundai I30 a year and a half ago which turned out to have been in an accident that was never reported. It ended up having several serious issues. It would shake really hard after it had been driven for a while especially in London where its a constant stop, go.. stop go. It got so bad that it felt like you were in an earthquake. It would also sometimes turn off randomly when driving which was extremely dangerous. The car is still under warranty and when we took it on a roadtrip, the turbo failed. We also found out that the car had never been serviced before. Its apparent that the dealership did not properly inspect the car before selling it. Its safe to say that we would never buy a car from there again. We bought a complete "lemon". I can't believe they'd sell a car like that to someone. Unsafe and unpleasant to say the lease. Absolutely disgusting. Gladly, the car has now been sold.

DO NOT purchase a car from this company! Absolutely pathetic and unprofessional communication and service! I brought a Kia Sorento on finance a couple of months ago- a couple of weeks ago my EML came on- after getting a diagnosis the DPF is blocked and needs two new temp sensors! I took out the extended warranty as the salesman expressed it would cover more than the standard Kia warranty- received a decision back from the warranty and it does not cover this! There is no way in the short space of time I have had the car that this has gone faulty! After all the other reviews on here I would definitely avoid at all costs! You ring and your told they will ring you back to where they don’t! We agreed the Ariel of the car would be sorted as it was broke when we looked at the car- on arriving to collect I was waiting over two hours as the car still hadn’t been MoT/serviced! To then find the Ariel had not been fixed as the part wasn’t in stock! So we had to go and collect it a couple of weeks later and then fit it ourselves which cost money as we couldn’t get the seal off to get to it! Love my car but this company shouldn’t be allowed to run!! Disgusting!!

Turned up to pick up my car today. Was kept waiting almost an hour, then when inspecting the car I discovered the repair we had agreed they would make had not been done. They told me they could not get the parts, and it would be a couple of months before they could. Given this it was odd they had not told me, ideally before I came to pick up the car, but even when I arrived to do so. That I was left to discover this on my own suggests bad faith. Driving the car away I discovered it had not been charged. Just about made it to a Nissan dealership where they kindly allowed me to charge the vehicle (slowly). Unfortunately the partial slow charge wasn't enough to make it home, and I had to call out the AA to tow me the final few miles. Finally made it home 9 hours after I set out. Had to miss the entire afternoon of work. Overall the worst experience I have had buying a car.

Absolutely awful place to try and buy a car. Been waiting over 5 weeks for a car they pulled from sale which was apparently ok. Lie after lie and absolutely no communication skills with customers I done all the phone calls and chasing. When I called I would be ignored and never called back. Would never go to that place again most stressful experience on buying a car. To top it off no sorry or any help to try and buy another as it was their fault in the first place for trying to sell a car clearly not fit for sale but telling me it was.

Drove 4 hours to pick up my new car. 30 minutes into the journey home in my new car (Range Rover evoque) & the engine light came on. Car went into limp mode on the motorway i.e. no power. Rang SW who said they’d send “recovery”. Recovery turns up 4 hours later (bear in mind I was less than half an hour from the garage). Rang the garage 7 times during this time to make sure they were going to sort me out when I got back explaining I was 4 hours from home with no car and a 1 year old waiting for me at nursery. Recovery took me back to the garage. GARAGE NOW CLOSED. No one there except Service Manager Saleem waiting to take the car off the truck. Had already part-exed my old car with the garage before they sold me the faulty car. Was stood at the closed gates wondering what the hell I was going to do when a taxi turned out of nowhere in my name to “take me to the train station”. £60 train home without my old car or my new car. Moral of the story…do your research and read these reviews ⚠️

Couldn’t fault the customer service from these guys, from start to finish. Alfie and Craig were both so helpful and we have ended up with a vehicle that we are really happy with. We had a couple of queries but these were answered quickly. Most importantly, Alfie always phoned when he said he would - thank you, Alfie!

Paid deposit on Mercedes with 27k miles on the clock. Checked past MOT details to find it had done 34K miles 2 years ago. Goodness knows how many miles are really on it. Tried to tell me it was a mistake on MOT paperwork. Still waiting for deposit to be returned. BEWARE !!!!

I recently visited Sw car supermarket to have my car serviced and also I was having some problems with the brakes. I can honestly say the service department was more than happy to assist in getting my car's issues rectified who the two on the desk who stood out happen to be Issac and Antony who both were professional and very polite in the way they handled my concerns promptly and issac followed up with a courtesy call to make sure I was happy with my car and the work carried out. I would reccomend anyone visiting there to ask for Issac or Antony as I am sure they will be more than happy to help and make your experience at SW car supermarket a pleasant one.

After lots of research I bought an Audi A7 as it had the level of trim and options I was after. That included a sat nav system as standard. When I checked it over while in the garage forecourt, I realised there was no SD card for the sat nav. After a phone call I was told the car wasn’t advertised with set nav - hence no card! How stupid when this is a standard feature. Over a 3 week period I have spoken a number of times to John Marshall, Dir of Ops. He agreed that there should have been a card included and said he would send one out. After three weeks and 3 chasing calls, I still don’t have my card. I’m actually not that confident that this has been sent to me. You were quite happy to take my money but your customer service is dreadful. Why is it so difficult to get this rectified? Why am I having to continually chase this? If anyone from SW Cars reads this and is able to do what John has been incapable of then please get in contact. You have my phone and email address.
