WAS SOLD AN AUDI A1, HAD ISSUES WITH THE GEARBOX, THEY HAVE THE CAR AND MY MONEY AND THEY ARE REFUSING TO REFUND ME EVEN THOUGH I REPORTED THE FAULT WITHIN 2 WEEKS. I AM HAVING TO GET A LAWYER. NEVER TRUST THESE GUYS - CON ARTISTS FOR REAL. DONT RESPOND TO EMAILS. LIES ON THE PHONE. JUST A HORRIBLE BUSINESS REALLY, DONT CARE ABOUT PEOPLE AT ALL!

Very very very very very very bad service!!!! I even never come to this type of websites for reviews, but at the moment my goal is just make this very huge to make sure I can't make everyone aware of the bad quality service it was. I even should seat at the stand just waiting for customers to approach and let them know what happened to go away and not to buy anything there! I basically bought a car gave all the money up front and the day the stand called me to be ready to collect the car, when I arrive they even didn't know I was coming. I drove 2h on that Sunday and I had 2h more to drive home. Ok, it happens, was bad but ok let's see what is coming next. Then they told me the car was not ready, not cleaned and not ready to go. So I said I could go for lunch and come back. I have done that. When I was about to return they called me (I was around 15 min from the stand) and they said "we are about to close in 5 or 10 min". So basically they called me just when they were about to close saying we close in 5 or 10 min, I drove really fast to arrive. When I arrive and when I was about to sign the contract we realised the car (after being washed very quick and not correctly) had a huge chip on the front mirror and a massive dent fading the colour as well. The chip was very big and because the car was very dirty it was not possible to see it. They never realised the chip was there or even the dent. I said that was not the car I agreed to take as it is a matter of time the glass will break and it is a very expensive glass - I am talking about a volvo d4 cross country. They said they could replace the front mirror and the dent. So a few days later of taking the car home, 10 days, there was a light coming up as well, so the car had other problem, I took it to my garage and more problems in the car needing to be fixed! I reported all this in the 14 days! After lots of calls lots of emails nothing was done, I keep trying to get someone to call me someone to do something about and nothing. The lights coming up it's related to really important repairs that need to be done. I want to return the car!!! Basically they asked us for some money up front to check the car but they didn't do any checking! The garage where I take my cars since ever gave me a quota for the car to be fixed and when I sent to the SW company they said it was extortion and they wouldn't pay for it!!! So very bad service as I am to go on holidays in 2 days and I need "a car" and the car I bought has lots of problems never detected and they don't seem to bother about it! I would give zero stars. I am very upset. I need to keep chancing them, they don't call me or do anything!!! I will keep posting everywhere I can the huge bad customer service they are having! I am not a very demanding person, bad understandings happen, but this is just very bad service!!!!!

Bought a car from them, the put an ill fitting battery in a 17 plate BMW. Ended up losing all power and in a ditch! Contacted them and initially phoned saying they would pay the labour for the repair (BMW bent over backwards and where so helpful) then nothing. Had enough of them, even dropped all the paperwork off to the sales manger last week who ‘promised’ someone would be in touch. Gone on for nearly 7months so off to court we go! Avoid like the plague, how they got the customer service award is beyond me!!

Terrible service. Its obvious the sales guys are all clambering over each other to claim your custom to the detriment of the customer! I was left wondering around the show room waiting for someone to get back to me with some information, unbeknown to me another guy had pursuaded him to hand over the potential sale to him. I spent a couple of weeks going back and forth looking at cars. When I finally found a car i liked my salesman contacted me to arrange a test drive. When I arrived it had been sold to someone else. He never rang me again?? I gave up with sw cars and went elsewhere.

Bad service? No return phone calls? no car after 3 weeks? Then you've been to SW cars! In summary ... Picked my dream car (over £15000 cash) and waited patiently for 2 weeks whilst they repaired all the imperfections. Then the day before I'm due to pick it up... turns out they've done no mechanical checks and either the clutch or gearbox has gone. A huge concern seen as I had taken it out for a test drive... what else dont they check I wonder? Followed by a week of daily phone calls to find out what was happening made by my end with absolutely no return calls I finally gave up. Apparently the reason for this service was (quote) "young management". Whatever you do, do not waste your time and certainly your money with this con of a business. Shocking doesnt even cover it. Buyer beware!!!

After an extremely disappointing experience with Carsupermarket, I feel compelled to share my story as a caution to potential buyers. My nearly new vehicle has required over six services within the first six months of ownership – a red flag that cannot be ignored. Despite their claims, the tires installed on my Tesla were not up to the required specifications, leading to safety concerns and performance issues. This was no minor oversight but a clear deviation from Tesla’s strict guidelines, which specifically call for Tesla-approved tires that suit the vehicle’s performance needs. Moreover, the vehicle passed an MOT at a Carsupermarket-associated location, which now appears to be highly questionable. The mismatched and non-compliant tires on the vehicle should not have passed the MOT standards, raising doubts about the legitimacy of the inspection process and, worse, the legality of their practices. It’s disheartening to encounter such a lack of transparency and customer service in what should have been a straightforward purchase. The car was sold with assurances of quality and roadworthiness that have not been met. I have pursued the issue with their team but have been met with inadequate responses and a failure to acknowledge the seriousness of the situation. I am left with no choice but to consider legal action to resolve these issues and hold the company accountable. My experience has been one of frustration and concern, and I would urge anyone considering purchasing from Carsupermarket to think twice and proceed with extreme caution.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We bought a 2018 Hyundai I30 a year and a half ago which turned out to have been in an accident that was never reported. It ended up having several serious issues. It would shake really hard after it had been driven for a while especially in London where its a constant stop, go.. stop go. It got so bad that it felt like you were in an earthquake. It would also sometimes turn off randomly when driving which was extremely dangerous. The car is still under warranty and when we took it on a roadtrip, the turbo failed. We also found out that the car had never been serviced before. Its apparent that the dealership did not properly inspect the car before selling it. Its safe to say that we would never buy a car from there again. We bought a complete "lemon". I can't believe they'd sell a car like that to someone. Unsafe and unpleasant to say the lease. Absolutely disgusting. Gladly, the car has now been sold.

Don't bother with this garage, you will regret it if something goes wrong. And don't trust a word they are saying.

After lots of research I bought an Audi A7 as it had the level of trim and options I was after. That included a sat nav system as standard. When I checked it over while in the garage forecourt, I realised there was no SD card for the sat nav. After a phone call I was told the car wasn’t advertised with set nav - hence no card! How stupid when this is a standard feature. Over a 3 week period I have spoken a number of times to John Marshall, Dir of Ops. He agreed that there should have been a card included and said he would send one out. After three weeks and 3 chasing calls, I still don’t have my card. I’m actually not that confident that this has been sent to me. You were quite happy to take my money but your customer service is dreadful. Why is it so difficult to get this rectified? Why am I having to continually chase this? If anyone from SW Cars reads this and is able to do what John has been incapable of then please get in contact. You have my phone and email address.

STAY AWAY - disgrace of a company with the worst customer service I've ever come across. Purchased an Audi A1 (2016) only a fortnight ago and diagnostics from a few local garages have shown several issues that would cost thousands to repair. Emailed and called swcarsupermarket several times for a refund (under the Consumer Rights Act 2015) and so far the manager/anybody with the a position to authorise such has never been available and never attempted to get back to me. Anthony from the service team was extremely rude over a call and said the quicker we get off the call the faster it can be dealt with. Yet a week later there has been no contact but numerous false promises of being called back shortly etc. Anthony also refused to give a contact number for his manager. Taking it to the trading standards as none of my issues are being dealt with.

DONT BUY FROM HERE - collected a Mercedes GLA back in 2019. The prop shaft went on it less than 30 days after buying it - electrical issues- break assist slamming its breaks on with no other vehicles around risking my life. SW couldn’t of cared. 10 months it’s taken me to get my money back from the finance company.. and still SW HAVENT REPLIED TO THEM.

Drove quite a distance to view a car which they had advertised only to be told when I got there, that it wouldn’t be on site for another week , what’s the point of advertising the car , grrrrrrr

A dozen emails an phone calls, £200 out of pocket and still no attempt at resolution. Countless things missold, not working. Not to mention the fact the car was sold as having android auto an it does not, a software costing £1,000 for installing. Looks like we'll be off to court.

Bought a car from them paid for a service and they put a new battery in. Put in a cheap battery incorrectly which not only resulted in massive electrical failure but also 1 accident due to power loss (ended up in a ditch) and another mounting the kerb n nearly hitting a wall. 2 emails and 4 telephone calls later and still waiting for someone to comeback to me. Now instructing a solicitor to take legal action and try recoup the in excess of £1000 in repairs. Awful service, soon as they got your money they don’t care. Still waiting for someone to get back to me, been 3 weeks now since I first contacted them.
