The bed is easy to assemble. The white stained wood is attractive. I ordered mine without a headboard. It turned out that the bed is 5 inches longer than the standard mattress. Leaving a big gap between the mattress and the wall. I've had to fill this gap so that my pillow doesn't escape me in the night.
