“I ordered a bed frame in June for a new home, the Wooden Bed Company were very understanding when the removal date was pushed out at least twice and a different delivery address thrown into the mix. We had to phone for some support while asssembling the bed as the instructions weren’t terribly clear, again they were very helpful. We’re very pleased with the end product, super sturdy and looks good”

“The bed is fine. But BJS the company who delivered and assembled were terrible. They are basically delivery guys who really don’t have an eye for a beautiful hand made bed. They were in such a hurry. Constant arguing. They wouldn’t let me stay in the room with them. Consequently the headboard was wrong and I had to pay someone else to reassemble it for me. There was no way I was having BJS back in my house. Having had them deliver 4 pieces of furniture and had problems with all of them.”

“I cannot praise the Wooden Bed Company enough. I needed a bed that was a bit bigger and lower than the standard model. To make things more difficult for everybody I kept changing my mind about the exact dimensions. Nothing seemed to phase the people I communicated with and they never expressed any sign of the irritation they must have felt! When I finally made a decision, the bed was executed to perfection - and at the standard price which was hugely appreciated. It was delivered quickly and the kind person who assembled it for me said he was very impressed with the way the joints were fitted and the overall sturdiness of the bed itself. The ONLY quibble I have is with the courier, DX Freight, who gave me absolutely no idea when they were planning to deliver on the allotted day. I would not expect an exact time but to say nothing more than 0800 - 1800 is really not acceptable. Most companies give at least a morning or afternoon slot and the good ones send a text with a two hour window followed by another one when the delivery has been made. Moreover, the not very helpful driver never rang or knocked when he arrived and put the quite heavy boxes down across my yard as far away from the front door as he could have done. It was pure luck that I saw him just as he finished but waithout actually saying so he made it very clear that he had done his job and was now leaving so there was no point in asking him to bring them a bit closer. In WBC's shoes I would look at another courier. Other than this I cannot recommend them more highly.”

“After an extensive search for a small double solid wooden bed, I stumbled upon Wooden Bed Company, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my choice. Unlike other well none brands that offered limited designs and colours, this company provided a wide array of options, allowing me to customise everything from the wood type to the bed hight, matress base hight, leg design and colour. What truly set them apart was the craftsmanship. The bed I selected is constructed from premium Scandinavian pine, and the tension-fit assembly method, instead of traditional screws, ensures a sturdy and seamless finish. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect, from the robust slats to the beautiful finish. What struck me most was that the bed didn’t feel like a mass-produced product. Instead, it carried the character of something handmade by someone truly passionate about their work. That craftsmanship shines through in both the sturdiness and the beauty of the piece, giving it a unique quality you simply don’t find elsewhere. Beyond the quality of the build, I truly felt that this bed has a soul. It isn’t just furniture, it feels alive with the care and passion of the maker. The natural wooden scent that filled the house on arrival was the finishing touch, a reminder of its authenticity and craftsmanship. The customer service was exceptional. From the first point of contact, Catherine was incredibly responsive and helpful, answering all my queries promptly and making the entire process stress-free. Even when a small issue arose with the slats, it was resolved without hesitation, and replacements were sent immediately. The delivery was prompt, and the bed arrived very well-packed and in perfect condition. The minimalist assembly instructions, available on thier website, were clear, making the setup easy and enjoyable, though I’d recommend having a second pair of hands for precision. In summary, the quality, the craftsmanship, and the outstanding customer service made this purchase a delight. I wholeheartedly recommend Bedwood Company and will certainly consider them again in the future.”

“Lovely sturdy bed, and comfy mattress. I anticipated about a month for bed to be delivered and this was a good guess. I asked for the company to build the bed which the guys did for me in about an hour. Unfortunately it wasn't until they left that I realised the slats were flat rather than below, so they came back on a later date and sorted it well. Very helpful and responsive and polite throughout.”

“The bed is lovely and we wanted a bed that was easy make which is why we went for no foootboard. Lovely smell of real wood when entering the room. However, their delivery people were not good so I couldn’t give 5 stars. My tip though is defiantly put it together yourself. It’s quite easy in hindsite. We paid for it to be constructed in the bedroom but the first delivery people didn’t have a clue and put the head board on upside down and left out several screws. All good now and the light oak is stunning.”

“Overall, delighted with the look of the bed and the workmanship. Delivery was as described. We realise natural oak has knots, and you do include a disclaimer to that effect, but we were disappointed that the knot on the side panel of the bed in our case was effectively a hole right through the panel.”
