“Got the king size redwood pine, walnut. Really beautiful and solid bed. A lot more robust and stable than my previous one. Delivery was efficient. Clear instructions to assemble. Good customer service when I was deciding whether to buy. All in all I'm a very happy customer”

“The bed looks really nice and the finish on the visible wood is very good - no rough or uneven bits. However, once put together it was very creaky, which I managed to narrow down to the pre-attached bed slat support rails which were squeaking against the frame whenever anyone say or lay on the bed. I managed to fix it by taking them off and putting some material between the frame and the support rails and the reattaching, but they should have been glued or just better attached at the factory. So while the bed looks great, I wouldn’t buy another one.”

“We bought two single beds to act as twin beds in one bedroom. Communication regarding the order, its progress to manufacturing and its delivery was just right, giving us confidence during the time between order and delivery, and the delivery itself was very efficient, and met the promised time slot. The beds were easy to assemble, well-written instructions, they look great, but most important of all, are really lovely to sleep on. Of course, much depends on the quality of the mattresses you use (we already had great ones from the beds being replaced), but the bed itself still has to offer rock solid support, and these do. We couldn't have asked for more.”

“Really nice quality bed. The two horizontal head board pieces with the biscuit joints were quite awkward to get straight without a small space between them (at one end) and would have been a lot easier with one larger bit of wood. That aside, looks great and feels solid. Customer service were excellent with good communication throughout. I would recommend this company.”

“I had a great bed and mattress before but house move determined downsizing. I used to live in NE England and wanted to support this small business. Absolutely no regrets! A lovely bed,looks great, assembled easily and the mattress beyond expectations, so comfortable and l sleep very well. Company accommodated house move date, incredibly helpful. Look no further than the WBCo!”

“This is an exemplary company who made and delivered exactly to specifications and schedule! They went the extra mile to meet my needs. I constructed the bed myself. It is solid, well made, very handsome with great under-bed storage. Such great value for money. Coupled with an award winning hybrid mattress I am enjoying the best sleep in years. I was so pleased I recommended it to my daughter who promptly purchased one herself and is similarly delighted. It's great to support a UK company that manufactures goods to order from top quality materials.”

“Bought the bed on offer, week later it did get even cheaper, the bed then took 15 working days to come. The packaging wasn’t the best as the wood had plenty space to move and rub against each other, some places with lacquer were sort off rubbed off. I don’t think that wood was dried perfectly, as the headrest wood pieces were slightly warped. The joints are my main concern, as I would have preferred sturdier system. I like the ethos of the company, just can’t see myself liking the product as much. After having the bed for more months now, I have really came to dislike it quite a lot and would next time go with different company as I probably heard less squeaking with 5 year old bed than this one. Shame, as I really wanted to like it.”

“The customer service is extremely good! They answered my emails straight away, no automated mail either. The bed it’s self is brilliant, the colour is spot on and very well made and sturdy. Speedy delivery. All in all a really good experience with the wooden bed co.”

“An excellent company, from Catherine on phone through to the final product, everything was straightforward and above expectation. I wanted an alteration to the headboard that I assumed would be too complicated but it was easily accommodated. I was advised as soon as the bed was ready for dispatch and delivery was as scheduled. The bed was very well engineered with tight fitting joints and it assembled without any issues. I had someone help me to assemble the bed and I’d recommend that as it’s a lot easier than tightening the joints on your own. I ordered the light stain which was a little too light for my room, I should have asked for a sample but that was my fault, hopefully it will darken over time. Most importantly the bed looks and feels solid, I’m very pleased with my purchase.”

“I found the whole order process very simple and swift. The lady on the other end of the phone for my quick query couldn't have been more helpful and knowledgeable.
