“Ordered an Oak bed and the quality is just lovely. The website has lots of info so I felt confident in what I was ordering, in terms of legs, mattress slats, etc. The bed was easy to put together. Delivery was smooth and I appreciated being able to choose a date.”

“Great bed and great price. Well made and love the different finishing options. The one thing I'll say is that I happened to have a rubber mallet handy since I'm a painter - I feel like it would have been pretty difficult for me to put the bed together without it.”

“Great company! I love the bed. They answer every email and phone call. The only slight inconvenience was that the courier delivered to the wrong address (got confused with regards to the street names). The bed was easy to put together and I love the fact that it's proper wood.”

“Very pleased with this bed. It is gorgeous oak, and I really love the waney edge. I assembled it with the waney edges facing the opposite way from the photo on the website, as I didn't want to hide it behind pillow - I think looks great. I ordered a very deep mattress so I can't really see the headboard if I stack 2 pillows, but with one pillow it is nicely visible. I managed to put the bed together on my own, which was quite hard as oak is so heavy. However the construction is simple. Very pleased with my new bed!”

“I first purchased a double bed in November of 2023 and was quite happy with it. I have since moved house and required another bed for my spare bedroom in 2025. Same model (01) but with a lighter stain. Still a very nice bed. Thank you.”

“Having been "stung" on buying a king size bed from a different company (one where the slats dipped / it constantly squeaked like a new chick and was advertised as "solid") I was a little nervous of spending £500+ on a new bed frame. However, with the Wooden Bed company I didn't need to be. The bed frame was delivered on the agreed date, I was kept up to speed with timings and best of all the frame is beyond my expectations. It literally is SOLID! The workmanship is superb and it was easy to put together single handed. There was a slight issue with the incorrect centre posts sent out but the wooden bed company replaced these within 3 days. No issues , no problems. The communications were excellent (Catherine) with no auto-bots etc and it's fair to say I would whole heartly recommend this company to anyone. Yes the frames are a little expensive but they should be for the work that clearly goes into them. This is reflected in the 10+ years guarantee. The bed is honestly that well made I'm considering replacing one of my older beds with the same frame. Thank you too The Wooden Bed Company for selling and delivering a honest product and for simply being human.”

“Really happy with the bed. Looks great and wasn't difficult to put together. I was out when my husband did it, and I was expecting to come home to find him irate, the bed still not constructed as parts were missing etc as we have found with so many purchases in the past.....but no, everything was supplied correctly and the bed is perfect! Thank you”
