Very pleased with this bed. It is gorgeous oak, and I really love the waney edge. I assembled it with the waney edges facing the opposite way from the photo on the website, as I didn't want to hide it behind pillow - I think looks great. I ordered a very deep mattress so I can't really see the headboard if I stack 2 pillows, but with one pillow it is nicely visible. I managed to put the bed together on my own, which was quite hard as oak is so heavy. However the construction is simple. Very pleased with my new bed!
