Having been "stung" on buying a king size bed from a different company (one where the slats dipped / it constantly squeaked like a new chick and was advertised as "solid") I was a little nervous of spending £500+ on a new bed frame. However, with the Wooden Bed company I didn't need to be. The bed frame was delivered on the agreed date, I was kept up to speed with timings and best of all the frame is beyond my expectations. It literally is SOLID! The workmanship is superb and it was easy to put together single handed. There was a slight issue with the incorrect centre posts sent out but the wooden bed company replaced these within 3 days. No issues , no problems. The communications were excellent (Catherine) with no auto-bots etc and it's fair to say I would whole heartly recommend this company to anyone. Yes the frames are a little expensive but they should be for the work that clearly goes into them. This is reflected in the 10+ years guarantee. The bed is honestly that well made I'm considering replacing one of my older beds with the same frame.
