Echoing other reviews, Toptech robs its customers. Thankfully it was only over $24, but they stressed they’d “fight” me hard before providing any thorough customer service. They could not provide a point of contact for me to call or a different point of escalation.
I placed an order on 11/27. The site policy guarantees that all orders will be shipped within 3 to 7 business days. After almost 2 weeks, I reached out for a status update, as a holiday was approaching, and I would be moving. They offered a 25% restocking fee, which I was fine with. However, they disregarded my request for a refund with a 25% loss and shipped the item.
They guaranteed it would arrive prior to 12/18. It is now 12/31 the item was supposedly delivered to my prior address today many states away. Not only did their policy guarantee shipping within the 3 to 7 business days, they also guaranteed I would receive the product prior to moving with neither guarantee being met.
Instead, they told me I was robbing them when asking for their reasoning to why they didn’t issue the refund as requested with a restocking fee. They also told me I was a liar, and that the item should be in my possession, when it was made clear weeks ago, I had an effective move date.
The initial request was for them to simply cancel the order or update the address, instead, they fully profited and were rude.
